        1. Yes! He’s the most cited academic of all time, the father of modern linguists, one of the pioneers of cognitive science, the world’s biggest expert on US foreign policy, and an MIT professor. He has written over 100 books on a variety of topics but I recommend Manufactured Consent out of all of them! My dad introduced him to me in middle school. Haven’t stopped following his opinions since then. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noam_Chomsky

            1. He is very much against the establishment and the top 1% abusing its power to perpetuate all concentration of wealth to itself, so he will criticize anybody from Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump, but he’s very far left (just like I am lol) so he mostly criticizes the GOP and such. Not sure what he says about the epidemic though.

                As most people should be.

                1. Indeed! If only that were the reality lol. Too many people vote not knowing what they’re voting for. If all people voted logically, they would’ve elected Bernie Sanders in 2016 and Andrew Yang in 2020 if you ask me.

                  1. Well, I don’t follow any political figures very closely (if at all) but I feel I think logically enough to know that we are being, essentially, ran around “distracted” from common sense and the behind the scenes on a lot of things in our government all while they maintain they are “straightfoward with us and telling us truths.”

                    1. “In the US, there is basically one party – the business party. It has two factions, called Democrats and Republicans, which are somewhat different but carry out variations on the same policies. By and large, I am opposed to those policies. As is most of the population.”

                    2. I pretty much understand the basics of government, I just don’t care to “get lost in the mix” which seems to make people pick one side or the other which I don’t really believe in anyway. But, I understand also that we need to vote with our brains (as we should) so we have to research and know at least in some sense what we are voting for. I am not a Trump supporter and that is enough for me to share with others when they bring up politics in discussions and I feel this way for many reasons but the most important reason is simply that he has no sense of doing what is right for us as a country or as a people/society and has shown us this many times while in office.
